On Friday 14th June, the German students of 5ème visited the Goethe-Institut in South Kensington to see an exhibition of the fairy tale collection by the Brothers Grimm. The collection was first published in 1812. It is a most famous and worldwide widespread book of German cultural history. It has been translated into 160 languages and became part of the UNESCO World Heritage in 2005.
The Goethe-Institut is celebrating this 200th year anniversary with a worldwide fairy tale exhibition for young people. On Friday it was the turn of our students of 5ème to enjoy two hours of fairy tale magic!
