Alicante and Valencia School Trip: A Cultural Adventure
Last week, Year 9 students from CFBL eagerly embarked on a week-long journey to Alicante or Valencia, Spain, as part of an enriching exchange program. The trip wasn't just about sightseeing; it was a deep dive into Spanish culture and a chance to form lasting connections.
Students explored historic streets, marveled at the City of Arts and Sciences and indulged in local cuisine like paella, tortilla and churros, all while immersing themselves in Spanish family life.
But the real magic happened through interactions with local students. These connections, forged in just a week, will leave a lasting impact on students, broadening their perspectives and fostering a sense of global citizenship.
As they bid farewell and return to London, students carried with them not just memories, but a deeper understanding of diversity, friendship, and the importance of stepping outside one's comfort zone. The CFBL-Alicante-Valencia exchange program isn't just a trip—it's a transformative cultural adventure that shapes minds and hearts for years to come.
