Today, the students of the CM2 (Year 6) class had the opportunity to experience a valuable civic lesson by organizing their elections for class representatives and eco-delegates.
After studying the roles of these representatives and the election process in class, each candidate eagerly launched their electoral campaign. Posters, speeches... everything was prepared with care and creativity!
To make the experience even more authentic, a polling station was set up in the classroom. The students took on various essential roles: assessors, polling station president, scrutineers, and, of course, voters, with mandatory passage through the voting booth!
The vote counting, conducted with great seriousness and adherence to the rules, allowed for the announcement of the names of the new representatives.
It was a wonderful day that not only helped students understand the electoral process but also strengthened their civic engagement. Congratulations to all for their involvement and dedication!
