Following a meeting at CFBL on Friday, February 28th, we confirm the information that you were given by our Headteacher earlier this week concerning the COVID-19:
Advice from the AEFE and the British Government
CFBL is strictly applying the advice from the AEFE & from the British Government concerning the management of the coronavirus by schools in London.
Update
We will update as soon as possible the information on CFBL’s website & we will send further messages to our pupils’ families if there is any change in the precautions that should be followed.
Procedures
At present, it is imperative that you apply the following procedures:
A. If you have travelled to (or transited via) these countries/regions during the last 14 days:
China (including Hong Kong & Macao)
Singapore
South Korea
Iran
The northern Italian regions of Lombardy (region around Milan), Venetia (region around Venice)
Even if you do not have any symptoms, you should stay at home & not send your children to school in the 14 days following your return to the UK & immediately call NHS 111 to inform the health authorities & to receive information from them on what other steps you should take.
B. If you have travelled to (or transited via) these countries during the last 14 days:
Japan
Malaysia
Taiwan
Thailand
If you have symptoms (even mild ones) of coughing, fever, or breathing difficulties you should stay at home & not send your children to school in the 14 days following your return to the UK & immediately call NHS 111 to inform the health authorities & to receive information from them on what other steps you should take.
C. If you have travelled in (or transited via) these countries/regions since 19 February 2020:
The Italian regions defined by a line above, but not including, Pisa, Florence and Rimini
Cambodia
Laos
Myanmar
Vietnam
If you have symptoms (even mild ones) of coughing, fever, or breathing difficulties you should stay at home & not send your children to school in the 14 days following your return to the UK, even, & immediately call NHS 111 to inform the health authorities & to receive information from them on what other steps you should take.

To allow us to take appropriation action, please inform us by this Sunday evening (1.3.20) if your family is affected by any of the above precautions, even if you do not have any symptoms. Please email that information to principal@cfbl.org.uk indicating:
Your child(ren)’s first & last name, their class(es) at CFBL, the country you visited (or the town for Italy) & the date of your return to London.
Follow their studies from home
Our teaching staff will put in place procedures to allow pupils to follow their studies from home.
