The start of the 2024-2025 school year will take place on Wednesday, September 4th. Here are the important details for each level:
Petite Section (PS)
Induction Week:
Wednesday, September 4th, Thursday, September 5th, and Friday, September 6th: 8:30 AM - 11:15 AM (no lunch service)
Students will be welcomed at 8:30 AM through the small gate on Cathcart Street.
Parents may stay with their child in the classroom for up to 30 minutes.
Parents should pick up their children at 11:15 AM.
Monday, September 9th and Tuesday, September 10th: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM (with lunch service)
Students will have lunch at school and be picked up at 12:00 PM.
Starting Wednesday, September 11th: Regular schedule begins (end of the morning at 12:15 PM on Wednesdays and end of the day at 3:30 PM on other days).
A detailed welcome booklet for Petite Section will be sent out in early September.
Moyenne Section (MS)
Wednesday, September 4th: 9:15 AM - 12:15 PM (no lunch service)
Students will be welcomed at 9:15 AM through the small gate on Cathcart Street.
Parents may stay with their child in the classroom for up to 30 minutes.
Children should be picked up at 12:15 PM.
Starting Thursday, September 5th (with lunch service):
Regular schedule begins.
Parents may stay a few minutes in the classroom with their child until Friday, September 6th.
Starting Monday, September 9th, parents are asked to drop their child off at the classroom door.
A welcome booklet for Moyenne Section will also be sent out in early September.
Grande Section (GS)
Wednesday, September 4th: 8:50 AM - 12:10 PM (no lunch service)
Students will be welcomed at 8:50 AM through the large gate on Cathcart Street.
Parents may stay with their child in the classroom for up to 15 minutes.
Children should be picked up in the courtyard at 12:10 PM.
Starting Thursday, September 5th (with lunch service):
Children will enter the school on their own and be welcomed by the teachers.
CP to CM2
Wednesday, September 4th: Regular schedule from the first day
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM (arrival from 8:30 AM)
Wednesday: 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM (arrival from 8:30 AM)
No lunch service on Wednesday, September 4th, but lunch service will start from Thursday, September 5th.
Parent-Teacher Meetings Schedule / Week of 09/09
Due to space limitations, only one parent representative is requested to attend. All meetings will be held in person. Only children enrolled at CFBL and registered for the garderie will be able to stay at the garderie during the back-to-school meetings.
