Thursday 12th December was Jumper Day at CFBL, and students wore their best festive jumper to raise money for the charity Save the Children, all while having fun and spreading holiday cheer. The event was filled with exciting games and activities, each designed to bring the school community together for a good cause.
Students enjoyed classic games like Four in a Row and Pin Rudolph’s Nose, creating an atmosphere of friendly competition and laughter. A series of quizzes, crafted by the students themselves, tested everyone’s knowledge, while magic shows added an extra touch of wonder and excitement to the day.
The generosity of the students, parents, and staff was truly remarkable. In total, £673.37 was raised through the day’s activities at school, with an additional £417 collected online. All funds raised will be donated to Save the Children, helping to support their vital work in providing aid to children around the world.
The event was a resounding success, with everyone coming together to support a worthy cause while making memories and spreading holiday spirit. The school is proud of the incredible effort made by all involved, and looks forward to future fundraising events that make a difference in the lives of others.
