Year 9 students recently completed a project called Stand Up & Shout. The students were split into groups and had to choose an oppressed group to present on and, finally, come up with solutions on how they can help.
The students created posters for their cause, wrote essays on the chosen subject and created dedicated websites to present their work.
Augustin, Tessa and Alexandre chose the theme of ageism and wrote a poem on their website.
Lucie, Frida and Clara chose to focus on women's rights and the problems they face today.
Timotéo, Joséphine and Jules focused on the theme of tolerance - the importance of confronting racism and prejudice.
Emma, Anatole, Aelita and Amelia chose the theme poverty.
Joseph, Daphne and Noa chose the theme classism.
