On Wednesday, February 12, CFBL had the pleasure of welcoming back the Linden family, former students from the very early years of the school, who have since followed remarkable academic and professional paths, primarily in the field of mathematics.
Sovann Linden, who recently completed a Master’s degree at Stanford after earning his Bachelor’s at Oxford and enjoying a successful career in finance in New York, has recently founded a start-up, Excellence, aimed at helping students with mathematics through an adaptive artificial intelligence program.
During his visit, Sovann shared his journey and passion for mathematics with our 9th grade students. His talk, focused on the importance of self-improvement and adaptability, inspired many of them. Alongside him was his sister Selena Linden, who also has an impressive academic background in mathematics and health from Oxford and Imperial College. Together, they offered valuable insights into the opportunities that mathematics can provide.
