We are delighted to share the exciting events that took place on Thursday, July 4th 2024, as our Year 8 students gathered for their final two hours of class to compete in the highly anticipated Recitation of "English is Tough Stuff" competition. We are proud to announce that this year's champions are Class 5B! Congratulations to all the students who participated and showcased their exceptional recitation skills.
In addition to the recitation competition, we took the opportunity to recognise and reward our students' outstanding achievements across various categories. The awards presented included:
Highest Star Count Winners: Celebrating the students who earned the highest number of stars throughout the year.
Best Year 8 class Star Counts: Recognising the class who achieved the highest number of stars throughout the year.
Best Merit Winners: Honouring students who exemplified exemplary behaviour and effort throughout the year and across subjects.
Class Timer Winners: Acknowledging the class who showed excellent corridor and class behaviour.
Some of these awards contribute points to the students' respective houses, which will be counted in September. We are excited to see which house will emerge victorious in June 2025!
