In October, our Year 10 students set off on their Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) expedition, split into two smaller groups to ensure a more focused and supportive experience. Over the course of the trip, students faced various outdoor challenges, from navigating through rural landscapes to working together to set up camp. The expedition is a key part of the DofE Award, promoting teamwork, resilience, and outdoor skills.
With sunny and lovely weather throughout the trip, the students were able to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings, making the experience even more enjoyable.
This adventure not only helped develop their practical skills but also strengthened their sense of independence and teamwork. The DofE expedition was a memorable and rewarding experience for all involved, and the students returned with a sense of achievement and pride in their efforts.
