On Friday May 27th 2022 , the three Year 10 classes took part in a play in a project led by the Maths department.
The author - mathematician Anne Rougée, who leads a theatre group in Paris, has written a play called "Nobelles" to denounce the Nobel Prizes in science which have been awarded in the past to men and not to the women who made these major scientific discoveries.
The author, having come without her troupe, juggled the various parts of the play using herself, recordings of the play performed in Paris, and, of course, our very own volunteer Year 10 students who wrote and acted out their own parts of the scenario.
The afternoon ended with a debate between the author and the students, as well as a snack buffet.
