Good Food, Good Mood!
This week marks Children’s Mental Health Week, a wonderful opportunity to focus on the well-being of our young learners, both mentally and physically. To support this initiative, we are delighted to welcome nutritionists to the school on 6 February. They are onsite to explain to students the fascinating link between nutrition and mood in a session titled “Good Mood Food”.
The nutritionists are offering a special activity for children in PS, MS, GS, and CP. Through fun and interactive workshops, students learn how the food they eat can influence their mood, concentration, and energy. They explore brain-boosting snacks and discover the importance of colourful fruits and vegetables for feeling great every day. An exciting and educational experience awaits them!
The sessions take place in the foyer outside the Dining Room, where children can actively participate and ask questions about healthy eating. This hands-on approach encourages them to develop a positive relationship with food and make thoughtful, healthy choices.
As we celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week, this visit serves as a reminder that good nutrition plays a vital role in emotional well-being. We help our students understand how to nourish both their bodies and minds, one bite at a time!
We are excited to see the children fully engage in this inspiring activity!
