This year, our 4ème students had the incredible opportunity to take part in a rewarding school exchange in Spain. This program, designed to encourage linguistic and cultural immersion, allowed our students to experience a new way of life while improving their Spanish skills.
A complete immersion into Spanish culture
During their stay, students were warmly welcomed by Spanish host families, sharing their daily lives and adapting to a new environment. This immersive experience provided them with a unique opportunity to practice the language in an authentic and stimulating setting.
A program full of discoveries
The trip was filled with a variety of activities, combining cultural discoveries and academic exchanges. Our students had the opportunity to:
Attend classes at a partner school, facilitating exchanges with their Spanish counterparts.
Visit iconic landmarks, witnessing Spain’s rich history and heritage.
Taste local gastronomy, enjoying traditional dishes such as paella and tapas.
Participate in cultural activities, including flamenco shows and artisan workshops.
Explore the City of Arts and Sciences and experience an immersive screening at the Hemisfèric.
Discover the wonders of marine life at the Oceanographic Museum, one of Europe’s largest aquariums.
Dive into history with a guided tour of the Museo de la Almoina, tracing Valencia’s Roman and medieval past.
Stroll through the Mercado, a traditional market filled with local flavors and colors.
Learn to cook authentic Valencian paella in a special workshop at the Paella School.
Strong bonds and precious memories
Beyond the academic and cultural aspects, this exchange was above all a fantastic human experience. Students formed strong connections with their correspondents and developed a greater openness to different ways of living and learning.
