From March 11th to March 22nd, 2024, CFBL shone with the brilliance of media and information exploration during Press and Media Week. A rich schedule of interventions and workshops guided students through the intricacies of media and understanding information.
Monday 11th March
The day began with a series of workshops led by Caroline Taix, exploring the fundamental question: "What is a media?" Students from CM1 B and CM1 A had the opportunity to delve into this essential reflection. Later, students from CE1 B participated in a game offered by CLEMI, helping them differentiate between information and advertising.
Tuesday 12th March
Students from CM2 B and CM2 A had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of reliable information during a workshop led by Talar Talajian.
Thursday 14th March
Students from CE1 A continued their exploration of the distinction between information and advertising through another session offered by CLEMI.
Monday 18th March
The week resumed with a dive into the hierarchy of information and the construction of a Front Page. Students from CM1 B and CM1 A had the opportunity to reflect on these concepts with Caroline Taix. Meanwhile, students from CM2 B and CM2 A participated in a press conference, learning how to gather and transmit information effectively.
Students from CE1 B continued their exploration of information and advertising during a second session led by CLEMI.
Thursday 21st March
Students from CE1 A also had the opportunity to participate in a second session of the game offered by CLEMI, thereby consolidating their understanding of this crucial subject.
Friday 22nd March
The week concluded with workshops led by Marion Piffaut, inviting students from CE2 B and CE2 A to explore the question: "What is information?"
More than just a series of workshops this week was a deep and enriching exploration that allowed students to develop their critical thinking and understanding of the world around them.
